Youth Monday Movie Club
The Hub City Cinema Society’s Monday Movie Club is a weekly program providing young filmmakers the opportunity to develop their filmmaking knowledge and skills to become self-motivated creators. Over the span of 12 weeks, participants learn from lessons by professionals in the community and delve into the various aspects of film production: script development, cinematography, art design, preproduction, audio, editing and more. In this behind the scenes experience, youth get hands on producing their own short film, casting trained actors, with the guidance of a professional mentor. Through the full collaborative process of filmmaking, young filmmakers will develop personal skills and a greater understanding of filmmaking.
